I grew up on the East Coast of Canada, near the ocean and forest. This was hugely influential in finding my Path and helping to develop my spirituality. My community is predominately Irish, Scottish and English; which also put me in touch with the traditions and superstitions of the Druids and Celts.
But that wasn’t all, as silly as it sounds there were two books which truly spoke to me in my youth and really opened my mind to paganism and witchcraft, as an aesthetic. Those books were Tears of the Moon by Nora Roberts and The Sorcerer’s Stone by JK Rowling.
I remember reading them and looking at things with new eyes and meaning. They were so rich with imagery and mystery, stories of magick and possibility, so I thought I’d share them for others to enjoy.
